I have had such a great summer of reading, and this newsletter touches on so many of the books that I have enjoyed. I wonder if you have felt the same way! Let me know.

Vacations kept my group from meeting this month, so we will be having our discussion of Marjan Kamali's THE LION WOMEN OF TEHRAN next month. No one wants to miss out talking about this one. I am going to do something fun with some of the group members next week. All of them have young children, so I will be hosting a pool party here for those who are in town. Hmmmm…this may be an issue going forward. If the kids know their moms are headed to a house with a pool for book group, will they let them leave the house alone, or will they want to tag along?
