My book group has been meeting for 3 ½ years. This month was the first time we all agreed that not only did we like the book we were discussing, we also were enthusiastic about it: BULLY MARKET: My Story of Money and Misogyny at Goldman Sachs by Jamie Fiore Higgins. We were lucky enough to have Jamie join us in person for our discussion, and we talked for almost 2 ½ hours.
One of my favorite parts about meeting with my book group is hearing the varied ways that we each look at a book. Yes, there are times when we all agree that we like a book, but there are always nuggets that come up in discussion that can give me a new perspective on it. I call it the 360 View!
